Lufkin Flower Market Donation Requests

One of our core values is Community Service.

Lufkin Flower Market believes in giving back more than we take in. We will use our God-given talents to serve others—in big and small ways—to make our community a more beautiful place. 

There are several ways we live out this core value. 

First, we give our time to support local community projects. We volunteer regularly for several nonprofits in our area that focus on improving the environment. 

Second, we offer free PreK floral events twice each year. For ticketed floral or gardening classes, we award scholarships to qualified students. We want young people to join our classes regardless of their ability to pay the registration fees. 

Finally, we give, as we can, in-kind donations. In fact, we have been humbled by the overwhelming number of  requests for donations. We take it as a sincere vote of confidence that your company or nonprofit believes in us enough to request our florals. In order to serve all organizations in our area fairly, we have decided to streamline the process for donation requests. 

Moving forward, we will award donations quarterly. In order for your request to be considered—no matter how big or small—we ask that you fill out the form to the right (or above if you're reading on your phone) and email it to lufkinflowermarket@gmail.com. 

We are currently taking in-kind donation requests for July-December, as April-June donations are already set. 

Bottom line: Lufkin Flower Market loves to give. But our current model of giving is not sustainable long term. We are optimizing our business donation request process to give every interested organization an equal opportunity to receive a donation.
